While India is facing a shortage of 110,000 hotel rooms—30,000 hotel rooms would be required in the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi alone to accommodate tourists and visitors to the Commonwealth Games in 2010. The Uttar Pradesh Government will construct hotels around the National Capital, providing 5000 rooms out of the estimated requirement of 30,000 rooms. With a view to providing adequate number of hotel rooms for the 2010 Commonwealth Games, one-, two-, three- and four-star hotels in Delhi and surrounding territories of Gurgaon, Faridabad, NOIDA and Ghaziabad have been given a tax break for five years. According to some estimates, an investment of Rs. 61,000 crore will be required to overcome the shortage of hotel rooms in the country. To bridge this massive gap between demand and supply, Feedback has managed the construction of 1,151 hotel rooms in the recent past and is working on many more hotel projects. As part of its integrated offer, Feedback provides project management in this sector. Our services encompass all stages of project management—pre-construction, construction, and post-construction. |
