N. Sivaraman is a Chartered Accountant by profession and is currently Executive Vice President (Financial Services) at Larsen & Toubro Limited. He is responsible for the Company's Financial Services Business and M&A initiatives. L&T Finance Limited and L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Limited, the two lending arms of L&T with an aggregate asset size of over Rs. 6,500 crore report to him. He is leading L&T’s plans for becoming a wholesale financial services player.

In his earlier role as head of M&A, he led the team for demerger of L&T’s Cement Business involved in structuring and negotiation of the transaction with Grasim Industries Limited.

He had also structured two of L&T’s BOOT projects in the power sector for L&T---one was financed on project finance basis and for the other, finance was raised through the capital markets.

He has consummate work-experience of 25 years, covering the entire gamut of finance functions, accounts, mergers and acquisitions and investor relations.
