Date: August 08, 2008 Synopsis: The Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI) on Thursday said that custom officials are charging export tax on iron ore based on reference prices provided by Chinese authorities and not taking into consideration the actual bills raised by the Indian companies. Date: June 09, 2008 Synopsis: Tuticorin Port Trust (TPT) is planning to invest Rs 5,200 crore to create additional capacity and infrastructure. The port had recently received in-principle approval from the Centre for two major projects involving the inner harbour and outer harbour.
