The Uttar Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (UPSERC) on Tuesday announced power tariffs for the domestic as well as commercial and industrial consumers. The commission has announced a massive hike of 22 per cent in power tariffs for small industries while for urban domestic consumers the hike has been to the tune of 8 per cent only.  The average hike in power tariffs in UP has been 14 per cent.
